After serving in Pastoral ministries in the local church for twenty-five years (20 at PCC), Dan and Betty Anderson transitioned into urban ministry working with people experiencing homelessness.

Dan served as the Staff Pastor to over 200 employees at the Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row in Los Angeles, CA, and also serving as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Ministry Development. For the first four years of working at the URM, Dan lived on campus (in his office), to immediately identify and connect as a resident of skid row

Betty served as Children’s Director at Pacific Coast Church for four years then accepted a two-year position as Program Director for Hope Gardens Family Center where she also resided on-site while ministering 24/7 to over 250 precious single mothers and children.Dan and Betty now serve together as the Deed and Truth founders and leadership team, building bridges between people who are ready to change with people ready to make a difference.

Our teams transform their houses into homes by providing the full services of moving, furnishing, and decorating. To date we have partnered together with churches to help transition over 200 families.
