Job Overview
A Church Operations Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a church, ensuring its efficient and effective functioning. This role involves implementing best practices, overseeing and training volunteers, coordinating select events to support the church’s mission and ministries and more.

Duties

  • Weekend Experience: Ensuring a positive Sunday experience including but not limited to overseeing the refreshment coordinator, welcome team, safety team, etc.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
  • Select Event Coordinating: Coordinating and supporting certain events and programs held at the church.

Qualifications

  • Mature Christian with experience in ministry oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), etc.
  • Previous experience in leading, inspiring and training teams is a plus.
