MIDDLE SCHOOL PASTOR SEARCH

Pacific Coast Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated servant leader to fill the role of Middle School Pastor (grades 6 through 8). This full time position will lead the charge to encourage students to know and follow Christ. Leadership qualities we are looking for:

• Christian — Devoted to God through faith in Jesus, displays an “above reproach” lifestyle.
• Passionate — Excited to serve Middle School Students
• Teacher — Communicates the truth in large group settings.
• Pastor — Cares for and supports for students according to their unique needs.
• Leader — Acts strategically to build a community based on God’s purposes for the church.
• Leader of Leaders — Builds a team of adult volunteers who effectively engage and mentor middle school students.
• Relational — Connects authentically with students, volunteers, and parents.
• Programmer — Plans and executes engaging and dynamic worship services, small groups, special events, etc.
• Communicator — Informs parents and students about the ministry through various communication channels.
• Team Player — Willing to “jump in” when help is needed beyond the middle school ministry.
• Collaborative — Works well with other ministries.
• Humility — Asks for help, and teachable, when needed.
• Like-minded — Accepts the doctrinal beliefs of Pacific Coast Church.
• Qualified — College degree and youth ministry experience preferred.
