The Alpha program is an 8 week short film series for non-Christians and Christians with questions who want to grapple with the purpose of life and how it is lived well in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. If you’re far from God or want to learn more about Him, it’s an opportunity to bring your thoughts to the discussion group and explore questions of life with friends – new and old!
When: Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 PM, starting October 5th
Where: At a home in San Juan Capistrano.
Each session is 2 hours, followed by an optional 30-minute of socializing/hanging out. Each Alpha session features a 25 minute film. Designed to inspire more questions than provide answers, these short films explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as, Is there more to life than this?, Who is Jesus?, and How can we have faith? The entire night builds towards small group conversations where you can share your thoughts about faith and life and hear from others in your group. You can feel free to say whatever you like or as little as you like, it’s up to you.
