Missionary Update: David & Betsy Reeve

Dear Family at Pacific Coast,
``But the father said to his slaves, `Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.``` Luke 15:23-24
Warm spring greetings from Central Asia. The verses above have been on my mind lately as I ponder the grace in which we can walk through the sacrifice the Lord Jesus made for us. It is my great joy to walk in His grace daily, confessing my sins, enjoying His forgiveness and free from the need to judge others. But there are so many here who don`t know that they can be forgiven. They don`t realize that there is a Savior waiting for them.
We are trying to address these themes as we have a study on Friday nights with my English students. In our home, over chai (tea) and cakes, we have been talking about the parables of Jesus and how they apply to changed lives. Please remember these students before the Lord.
This month, Betsy and I have the opportunity of doing English camps for kids. Last year some television people came and filmed one of my students repeating the story of the prodigal`s son. Please pray that He would continue to use these camps for His glory here.
In June, Lord willing, I`m taking my son, Nathan, to study at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in California. Please pray for our daughter, Catherine and Nathan as they begin in new universities in the fall.
