Missionary Update: Chris & Kristin Deckert

We have had this happen to us so many times that we jokingly say that to buy a car would show our lack of faith. We know that God works through you and through your prayers and you are a large part of this. Thank you for your part in the journey! One testimony of God?s faithfulness to our work and providing our needs has been His provision of automobiles. (see graphic on back) On multiple occasions, as we have prayed about what to do next for a vehicle, God has clearly given us direction by providing for the next steps. Just before Christmas we had returned from New Jersey visiting Kristin?s family and the ?Check Engine? light appeared on our 1997 Ford Explorer. We had been praying about possibly getting another van for a couple months and now it seemed was the right time. We decided to cash out an annuity and use our tax return to get a used Honda Odyssey from a fellow that works with missionaries in Kentucky. That evening I emailed my pastor asking him to keep an eye out for used Honda Odysseys. The next morning as we were getting the paperwork ready to cash the annuity my pastor called to share that a member of the church had just asked him if there was anyone in the church that would need a used Odyssey. He shared this with us and within a couple hours the van was in our driveway. WOW!!
 Below is graphic I made to show the cars we have had over the years and the amazing way we were able to receive them.?Click the graphic below for a larger version. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? | ? ? ? ? ? ? ? | ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
