I wanted to check in one last time as the hours tick down toward my departure to PNG on Thursday night. This last month has flown by as we`ve wrapped up those projects that always need attention during these trips?from the actual trip logistics to the house, car, finances. Yes, by now we`ve got it down to a bit of a system, which definitely helps. Yet each step still must be repeated for each trip, so there aren`t too many short cuts! Greetings from Central Asia! As we get closer to spring, I rejoice in the warmer weather that lies ahead. Three days ago, temperatures warmed and ice started to thaw, raising our hopes. Dear Praying Friends,
It used to be that they figured one human year was the equivalent of seven dog years, but I`m not sure whose years have since become easier, ours or the dogs. Six years ago Aubrey dragged home a rescue mutt that has well earned the moniker Molly the Wonder Dog...we wonder how she got here, and wonder how she`s stayed around so long.
But starting tomorrow Molly won`t be the old dog learning new tricks. As she takes her daily spot doing the crime dog thing over the neig...

My son Josiah's favorite tee-shirt says "Livin' a Dream." When I see that shirt I am reminded that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. The abundant life God calls us to may not be easy or safe. Abundant life includes grief, pain, risk, failure, tragedy and uncertainty. But it is lived with a loving heart, an engaged mind, and a wealthy soul.
