This past Sunday I mentioned that a lot of times we will see babies or kids who look like their parents.  Maybe a little girl has her mom’s smile or her dad’s eyes…

We looked at 1 John 3.1 and saw that we are referred to as God’s children.  Ephesians 5.1-2 calls  us to be imitators of God.

For those who are Christians, it is our job to look as much like our (heavenly) Father as we possibly can.  It should be our goal to think, act, behave, speak, and treat people the way he would.

When we do this, people will begin to recognize that we’re different.  We won’t look like everyone else; we will look like our Father.
