fears…
This past week at Breakaway we talked about light and darkness (sight and blindness).
I mentioned that when I was younger I had a big fear of being alone in the dark.
The guy below me, however, has a fear of getting worked on the basketball court:
Maybe if he played a little better defense he wouldn’t have to face his fears so much.
Here are some things that freak me out:
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that I do not want to be bit in the eyeball by a snake… not on my to-do list.
Guns scare me. Not kidding. Always have, probably always will.
Maybe it’s less about the guns and more so people who wear shirts like this:
Are you serious?!?!
“No, Johnny, I don’t think it would be a good idea to punch me in the face repeatedly for the next hour and a half… What? I don’t care if the energy drink told you to do it; put the can down and nobody will get hurt!”
Boys: Please stop drinking these things – they scare me.
What are you truly afraid of (injuries, dying, loneliness, the dentist, your crazy uncle)?

SPIDERS!!!!!!
I don’t like them either…but Lindsay flat out hates them. So it’s my job to take care of them when they’re in our place.
It helps when you think of them as being harmless and cute. Like this:
