Awesomeness Recap

What an amazing night! I’m sure a whole bunch of you are still recovering from the jousting battle wounds, sugar-highs, and overall awesomeness as I type this.

This past Tuesday was really everything we hoped it would be: a whole lot of fun, so many new faces, and a time to see our students reach out to their friends and invite them to join us on a Tuesday night.

Renee Reed took over 100 pictures of the night, so be sure to check out our flickr website to see some of what went down.

Letter from Melissa Mohr

A little while back many of you donated supplies to help Melissa with her senior project. God used your generosity and service in a huge way and Melissa wanted to share this letter with you all:

Dear MSM,
Thank you so much for your donations. My project was a much bigger success than I ever could have imagined; and all glory goes to God for everything he has done. For the project $2,180 was raised. $655 of that went directly to Children of the Nations, and the rest went to buying supplies for the care packages.
All together there was a total of 265 care packages made (which are worth $12-$16 each) for the impoverished children of Malawi, Africa!
I praise God for your kindness and tremendous generosity in helping me complete my senior project and, most importantly, helping these children who so desperately need it.
Now I ask one more thing: for prayer for the packages going to Malawi, Africa. They will be sent with a mission team sometime in August, and I hope that you could pray for the packages to arrive in Malawi safely, for customs to not confiscate them, and that the children who are in need most, will receive them.
Thank you again so much!

Sincerely,
Melissa Mohr

This could quite possibly be the best combination known to man.

This Tuesday, April 22nd we’ll be eating some pizza before we start the night. The pizza’s free and as always, we want to encourage you to bring some friends with you.

See you @ 7:00!

Sweet Heavens!

It’s been way too long since the last update. Sorry for that! Anyway, we’ve got a few big things coming up, so I’ll be sure to let you know all about them.

Lindsay and I spent a few days in Austin last week. We had a great time. And just because I feel like it, here are some pictures from there:

8th Grade Retreat Sign-ups

Just a little update about the sign-ups:

All of our spots are full! We just took the last sign-up earlier today. If you didn’t get a chance to sign-up but would like to go, we can put you on our waiting list in case another spot opens up. Just give Bobbi a call (940.2600) and we’ll let you know if anything opens up.

It’s really going to be an incredible weekend and judging by how quickly everyone signed up and what I’ve been hearing, I’d say that you’re all pretty excited about it.

Maybe as excited as this girl?

AHHH!!!

Happy Friday!

Need to laugh?  Check out this video (there’s no sound).

I really hope nothing like that happens to me or Evan on a Tuesday night.

Don’t fall off the stage!

Unfortunate News

Due to a lack of modesty and numerous other reasons, we will now be enforcing a mandatory Dress Code Policy.

All students must wear the following outfit at all times while on PCC’s campus:

New Uniforms

Darren and I had our very important weekly meeting today, April 1 2008, and decided it was time to announce this.

{Also, if you’re having a tough time understanding the fact that this is an April Fool’s Joke, please feel free to come dressed in this outfit – I actually think it’s pretty snazzy.}
